Jamal Williams has been appointed the director of collegiate academy and college credit partnerships.
A grant-funded partnership between Texas Wesleyan University and Fort Worth ISD provides students at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School the opportunity to get a jump-start on their college career starting this fall. Williams will lead the implementation of the new partnership. In addition, he will serve as the main contact and coordinator for our existing private high school partners.
Williams comes to Wesleyan from Tarrant County College South Campus where he served as Coordinator of Student Support. He has over eight years of experience working in secondary and higher education. As the coordinator at TCC, he supported Fort Worth, Crowley and Everman Independent School Districts with dual credit enrollment and early collegiate high school planning and support. He has additional experience in various student support services and instruction.
