What about my FAFSA application?
Since you're starting at the end of a financial year, you'll fill out two FAFSA applications pretty quickly. Or if you want, feel free to fill out two FAFSA applications for different years at the same time.
How much can I borrow?
You can borrow up to $20,500 per year from your guaranteed federal loans, but you can’t borrow more than $138,500 total, which includes undergraduate student loan debt.
You can apply for Grad PLUS Loans or College Access Loans (Texas residents only) to borrow what isn’t covered by federal loans up to the amount of the University’s cost of attendance.
In addition to loan programs, extended payments plans are available. You need to get started early - fill out your FAFSA as soon as possible and start talking about financial aid with us. We can give you help tailored to your financial situation.
