The Texas Wesleyan Alumni Association awards scholarships each year to legacy students who are related to Wesleyan alumni. Do you have a legacy attending Texas Wesleyan? If so, make sure they apply for this great scholarship.
The Alumni Association Scholarships were awarded to the following students for the 2015-16 academic year.
Rachel Zastoupil is from Longview, Texas and attended Texas Wesleyan because of the opportunity to receive a great education while playing the sport that she loves, golf.
She is excited to attend the same university as her grandparents and to continue their legacy at this United Methodist institution.
Taylor Tyler is from Chicago, Ill. She loves the small campus and thrives in a community where the faculty and staff genuinely care about the students and make Wesleyan feel like a home away from home.
Taylor is involved in Golden Rams (campus tour guides), the Wesleyan Dance Team and the Sports Medicine Society and looks forward to her senior year on the campus she now calls home.
Andrew Pelham is a non-traditional senior who realized that Texas Wesleyan would allow him to take that important next step toward his life goals. The "Smaller. Smarter." Promise Scholarship was primarily what made it possible for Andrew to attend Texas Wesleyan.
His success relies on his strong work ethic and dedication to studying, attending every class and establishing good academic relationships with faculty and classmates.
