“Smaller. Smarter” wins again at the AAF’s advertising awards ceremony
Texas Wesleyan University’s “Smaller. Smarter.” marketing campaign just picked up several prestigious awards from the American Advertising Federation.
The AAF’s Fort Worth chapter honored TXWES with four Addy awards during its annual awards ceremony, held this year at the Masonic Temple in Fort Worth on Feb. 22.
TXWES received a gold award for its billboards, a gold in the local television commercial category, a silver in the internet commercial category for its 100% online MBA ad and was named the overall best in film/video/sound.
The ceremony honored the best of the best in professional advertising and marketing in Fort Worth. DFW-area college students were also honored for their campaign creations.
“We’re unbelievably proud to have our work honored among the top professional agencies in Fort Worth,” John Veilleux, vice president of enrollment, marketing and communications, said. “Our ads continue to evolve and resonate with audiences. Congratulations to our team!”
Judges for the competition included:
- Cooper Olson, creative director/copywriter with BBDO Los Angeles
- Alan Spindle, creative director/copywriter from Chicago
- Megan Stephens, managing principal & owner of Willoughby Design in Kansas City
