Want to make sure your messaging takes center stage on campus? We have TV monitors in the Martin Center that you can use to display your news and events to the campus community. It’s as easy as sending a request through ProWorkflow or contacting the creative services manager, and we’ll work with you to get your news and events shown in the hub of the University. The Marketing & Communications Office will decide what content is displayed based on the current communication strategy, quality of content and availability of space.
Our Martin Center TV monitors show a feed of communications — kind of like having a non-stop Facebook feed that’s nothing but TXWES fun. We update what’s shown on the TVs each Monday, so the community can have all the latest info. Submit your file with the timeline of when you’d like the graphic to appear.
We schedule graphics on a first-come first-served basis, and we can only run the feed for 5 minutes at a time, allowing the graphics to cycle on the screen. The early bird gets the TV spot!
JPG or PNG in a 16:9 ratio (or 1920x1080 pixels) works best for our TVs. The image resolution should be no less than 72 ppi and no greater than 150 ppi. Make sure to put the name of the department or organization that is sponsoring the event, so the RAMily knows who to contact for more info. We want your info to look it’s best on TV with no stretching, grain or cut off images — no bad hair days here!
Want to take it up a notch? Hit record and create a video. You can submit a video of up to 30 seconds. We’ll need it in an MP4 format with a 16:9 ratio and a resolution of no less than 720p. And don’t forget to add the sponsoring department or organization in the video. No sound is played, so add any closed captioning you may need.
We got you. Just submit a Pro Workflow request at least 14 business days before you’d like the graphic to appear on the TV monitors.
