Merry Christmas! A lot is happening at the CETL as the semester winds down and the holiday festivities pick up.

Pressly Smith graduates from Texas Wesleyan University earning her Masters degree in Education (M.Ed.) with a focus in Gifted Education. She will participate in the Fall 2015 Commencement Ceremony. Please congratulate her as she graduates with Wesleyan's highest honors, Summa Cum Laude.
It is bittersweet that the CETL office announces that Dr. Addy Tolliver has accepted a position at Southern Methodist University (SMU)’s Center for Teaching Excellence. There, she will lead and consult with faculty on the development and design of online and hybrid courses grounded in research on online pedagogy, and conduct training sessions with faculty and staff on instructional technologies. Additionally, she will lecture for graduate programs at the Simmons School of Education on the topic of instructional technology and pedagogy. Please join the CETL staff in congratulating Dr. Addy Tolliver and we hope you will join us we celebrate her service to Wesleyan.
The CETL staff would like to invite all faculty and staff to celebrate the festivities by joining them for a CETL Christmas on Wednesday, December 9. There will be Christmas treats and stockings for everyone.
