The CETL and QEP team would like to thank all faculty and staff who attended the presentation A Framework for Teaching Critical Thinking on Friday, November 6th, 2015. This keynote presentation, lead by Dr. Bill Reynolds provided purposeful discussion and resources applicable Critical Thinking, which is the focus Texas Wesleyan's Quality Enhancement Plan.

Dr. Reynolds is an associate professor of social work and director of the Institute for Faculty Development at Stockton University. He is a co-facilitator of the Stockton Critical Thinking Institute, which provides workshops and coaching for faculty who seek strategies and activities to improve students' critical thinking skills.
Dr. Reynolds has conducted research on ethical issues of parent decision-making and informed consent in the context of pediatric medical research. He is currently investigating the impact of faculty training in critical thinking pedagogy on student learning outcomes.
In addition to the above takeaways, all attendees received a QEP - Critical Thinking Event badge (pictured below) to recognize their time and efforts in participating in a professional development activity.
