Several Texas Wesleyan School of Education alumni were honored at the Fort Worth ISD Academic Chairs for Teaching Excellence Awards luncheon on Nov. 18, 2015.
The Academic Chairs for Teaching Excellence program recognizes and rewards exemplary teachers for their above and beyond work in the classroom. Through the intensive evaluation process, candidates had to submit a written application, complete an interview and demonstrate teaching a lesson in front of a committee. Each teacher selected receives $5,000.
