Marcel Satsky Kerr, professor of psychology, accepted an invitation to serve on the editorial board of The Journal of Educators Online as associate editor, beginning January 2012.

Kerr has served on the review board for the JEO for six years. As a member of the JEO editorial board, Kerr will help shape the journal’s future as a respected authority on best practices in online learning.

The JEO is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes computer-mediated learning research including pedagogy, content, technical and organizational issues, and serves the needs of online educators, students and policy makers world-wide. The Journal (http://www.thejeo.com) has a 15 percent percent acceptance rate and is ranked eighth in the world among the computer mediated learning journals, averaging six citations per published paper.
