Junior Volunteer Program
A summer program is offered for students ages 14 and above who have completed the eighth grade. Junior volunteers accepted into the program must have parental permission, must provide a copy of their current immunization record and are required to have a TB skin test. Junior volunteers are asked to wear a uniform while on duty so that patients, staff members and other volunteers can easily identify them. The uniform consists of a polo shirt, which is provided by the hospital auxiliary, long khaki pants and white tennis shoes. Junior volunteers report to Tammy Patterson, gift shop manager.
