As part of his ongoing community outreach, President Frederick G. Slabach is meeting with area leaders and inviting them to visit Wesleyan’s historic campus.
Two recent visitors were Celia Esparza, president and CEO of United Community Centers, and Jolynn Lowry, board secretary for United Community Centers and wife of Methodist Bishop J. Michael Lowry. They talked about the center and ways Wesleyan students could get involved in volunteer opportunities at the non-profit agency.
Slabach also welcomed Fort Worth attorney Dee J. Kelly, founding partner of Kelly Hart & Hallman, to campus. Slabach and Kelly first developed a professional relationship during President Slabach's time as dean of the law school and that has continued through the years. The Texas Wesleyan School of Law is home to the Dee J. Kelly Law Library.
