Lisa Dryden, professor of education, received the Exemplary Teacher Award from the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the United Methodist Church Thursday, Oct. 20.

The program is a partnership between the church and United Methodist-related educational institutions and expresses support for outstanding teaching. Dryden also receives a $500 cash award.
