Please join President Frederick G. Slabach at the 129th Academic Year Opening Convocation at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27 in Martin Hall.

President Slabach will serve as the keynote speaker. Since assuming the role in 2011, President Slabach has developed and executed a bold agenda that cultivates student critical thinking and revitalizes Texas Wesleyan’s home in East Fort Worth as a vibrant academic and economic center. ‌ 

Faculty should arrive at the Baker Building no later than 11:30 a.m. to line up. Come dressed in academic regalia, with the exception of tams. Please join us as we welcome all faculty, staff and board members to campus for a historic Wesleyan tradition.
