Join President Frederick G. Slabach from 12:15-1 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, in Nicholas Martin Hall for a Town Hall Meeting and Campus-wide Open Forum. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend and submit their questions online in advance.
“It is important to provide open, direct opportunities for students, faculty and staff to voice their concerns,” President Slabach said. “Feedback from the campus community is very important to me and I look forward to seeing everyone there.”
The forum will begin with President Slabach’s Town Hall Meeting updates, which includes the presentation of the next recipient of the Staff Hero Award. Following the updates, President Slabach will address questions submitted in advance through the Presidents Idea Box. After pre-submitted questions are addressed, President Slabach and the Division of Student Affairs will facilitate an audience question-and-answer session.
For time efficiency, students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit their ideas, comments and questions to the Idea Box online or to the physical box located on the second floor of the Oneal-Sells Administration Building (near the main entrance). Ideas will be read anonymously (if desired) and addressed during the meeting.
During the audience question-and-answer session, students, faculty and staff will be limited to one question per person, please, and will be asked to be respectful of time, to allow for everyone to have an opportunity to ask questions or voice feedback.
