The School of Business Administration, Entrepreneurship Club, and various other organizations within Texas Wesleyan are partnering with the local Fort Worth community for a day of clean-up within the Polytechnic Heights neighborhood. This day is known as the Cowtown Cleanup.
In association with Polytechnic High School and the Boys and Girls Club of Fort Worth, this family-friendly event will begin at 8 a.m. on April 2 in front of the Armstong-Mabee Business building, located next to the clock tower, and will focus the cleaning effort on East Rosedale St. extending to Sycamore Park.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome to help clean the community we all share. Refreshments and a free t-shirt will be provided to all volunteers who sign up, as well as plenty of smiles and high fives.
Come join this student-led effort to connect with each other as we improve our surroundings with the Cowtown Cleanup, and learn more about the future Polytechnic Heights Community Garden that will help to bridge the gap between the school and the neighborhood, as well as providing fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs to volunteers.
