In 2020 Gary was promoted to his current role as the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs. When he isn't working Gary enjoys planning vacations, especially cruises, tailgating before football games, and spending time with his family.
Gary works with Student Activities, Orientation, and Transition Programs, Student Diversity & Inclusion, Career Services, and Recreation Sports. Gary also serves as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator for the campus community.
The student population at Texas Wesleyan is the best part about coming to work each day. Getting to work in an environment with such a rich diversity creates a culture of learning and even after being a Student Affairs professional for over fifteen years I still encounter new things every day.
