TexPREP is a three-week, mathematics-based, academic enrichment program emphasizing the development of abstract reasoning and problem-solving skills.
TexPREP helps students prepare for careers in the fields of mathematics, science, technology and engineering. The program includes coursework, team projects, class presentations, examinations, career awareness speakers, field trips and special events.
TexPREP is presented over the course of three summers in which the students reapply each year.
Students that have completed TexPREP Year 1 & Year 2.
June 3, 2024 - June 21, 2024. Approximately six hours per day plus homework.
TexPREP is offered all over the state of Texas at various college and university campuses. In Fort Worth, it is offered at Texas Wesleyan University.
The services of TexPREP are free to the students. Students will receive free lunch during the program.
FWISD provides free bus transportation for FWISD students only. TBD
