We know your time is valuable and we want you to have a productive tutoring session. Here are 5 tips to getting the most out of a tutoring appointment in the ASC.

1. Attend class

Tutoring is not a substitute for going to lectures.

2. Don't procrastinate

Come early and often. Plan ahead and start getting help as soon as you are having difficulties in a course.

3. Be prepared

Students should put a reasonable amount of effort into attempting the assignment before getting assistance. Bring all the appropriate materials, such as assignments, textbooks and class notes.

4. Bring questions

Prepare several specific questions regarding the course material.

5. Ask for help

Asking can only make you smarter.
