School of Arts & Sciences and Academic Advising Host Diaper & Wipes Shower

On Friday, March 1, more than 40 staff and faculty from around campus gathered in Polytechnic United Methodist Church's Bragan Hall to "shower" the Director of Advising and his wife, Muhye and Tore Hammatta, with dozens of boxes of baby diapers, wipes, and other gifts after the birth of twin daughters last month.

The Academic Advising staff and the larger campus community demonstrated its Ram spirit by coming together to provide baby necessities to the couple. "We had to do it," said Tamika Johnson, Coordinator for the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, "Muhye is a cherished staff member here at the university and he works so hard for our students' success." Kelly Anderson, Senior Director for Academic Advising and Student Success said, "It was an opportunity for us to give back to someone who gives so much of himself to the success of students and the university."

To Muhye and Tore, Congratulations from the Ramily!
