Ready to work toward a degree in music? Texas Wesleyan University is the place for you! Get started by auditioning the semester before you want to start at Texas Wesleyan. Auditions are good for one year.

How do I prepare?

• Fill out an application to the University
• Complete the form at the "sign up" link below and mark whether you wish to turn in a video or live audition.
          -Vocal requirements: two contrasting styles with one being in a foreign language
          -Instrumental requirements: two contrasting styles, each at least two minutes in length
              -No accompaniment required
              -No sight-reading required
  
  PLEASE DO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING
• Indicate that you are making a video submission on the form.
• Create a video with the following requirements:
          -2-minute (max.) introduction
              -Musical background (high schools, teachers, awards, etc.)
              -Career goals
              -State what pieces you are performing
• Upload the video to YouTube with an "Unlisted" link.
• Send that link to iaraujo@txwes.edu and sapaugh@txwes.edu

OR

• Sign up for a live audition date on the form.
• You will receive a follow up email before the audition date with a supplemental PDF to bring to the audition.
• Follow up with a telephone call to (817) 531-4992 if you do not hear from us.
