The Sociology Club was created by the sociology students as a place where they meet and discuss issues, both of an academic nature, and a societal nature. All sociology students have in common a desire to make a difference in their community. We work well with our local neighbors in the Rosedale and PolyHeights communities.
We want to encourage students to take civic responsibility by becoming more informed about their community. One of our projects is the on-campus Food Pantry, run by, and for students.

Though basically housed within sociology, the Food Pantry is run by students. We can only open when students volunteer, so please think about giving an hour or sop of your time each week on a regular basis. This would help immensely. The Food Pantry is located in PUMC.
