Congratulations to our very own visiting professor in sociology, Tom Guffey, who successfully defended his dissertation to become Dr. Guffey. He will receive his Ph.D. from Texas Woman's University this Spring.

Guffey's dissertation was titled Smartphone application self-tracking use and health. We are thrilled with Dr. Guffey's success and welcome him to the esteemed position. Guffey has been a great asset to the Department of Sociology this semester. We are delighted that he's chosen to join us and share his professionalism and expertise with our students.
