Rams seeking an endorphins boost in advance of Valentine’s Day last week were not disappointed, as members of the non-profit dance group Salsa at the Gardens (SATG) led them through a lively salsa lesson that made everyone’s hearts go pitter-patter. The event marked SATG instructors’ fourth visit to campus as part of the group’s commitment to community service and to helping people “enhance their quality of life, improve their health, develop their dancing skills, socialize, and create unforgettable memories.”
A big thank you to the Salsa Squad— Kennya Sanchez, Sal Morales, Rosie Flores, and Angelica Govea—for teaching us to move our bodies in style. We look forward to our next lesson!
