Texas Wesleyan University to Host 2024 Rams Be Well Dinner: A Night Focused on Mental Health Awareness
Texas Wesleyan University’s School of Business Administration is pleased to announce the return of the Rams Be Well Dinner, a signature event designed to promote mental health awareness and support. The dinner will take place on Oct. 17, 2024, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., and is free to all students and guests.
The 2024 Rams Be Well Dinner will provide attendees with the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about mental health. This year’s program will feature an interactive discussion on suicide prevention, stress management and the mental health resources available to Texas Wesleyan students. The event aims to foster a supportive environment where attendees can learn practical tools for managing mental health and building resilience in their personal and academic lives. The Rams Be Well Dinner is a collaborative event organized by the School of Business Administration, Alpha Theta: Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society and the Graduate School of Counseling, with support from the Student Government Association, the Chaplain's Office and Student Life. Together, these organizations aim to provide participants with valuable mental health resources while fostering a community of care, openness and support. To attend the dinner, students and guests are encouraged to RSVP by Oct. 11, 2024. Seating is limited, so early registration is recommended. For more information, please contact SOBA@txwes.edu
