Mark your calendars for the next University College Day (UCD) on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 — a day when we come together to celebrate the intellectual and community life of Texas Wesleyan University. This year’s theme is “Rams Rising: Connections and Change.”
All day long, students, staff and faculty will share face-to-face the interests and projects that have driven their learning experiences, and they need you in the audience.
Faculty members are encouraged to allow students to attend sessions. This event offers professors the opportunity to encourage learning beyond the classroom by linking their students' attendance at sessions to course content or skills. The pandemic has challenged all of our lives in myriad ways. As we move cautiously and carefully out of the darkness of the pandemic, we blink our eyes in the brightness and survey where we are and where we want to go. We see all Rams rising to the occasion to meet the challenges of change—to grow, to evolve, to remake, to hope. We see all Rams rising to connect and reconnect with our communities, to understand our interdependence, to reestablish bonds. We see in all Rams rising adaptability, flexibility, possibility, and vulnerability, a resilience that is the promise of the future.
