Amount: All students who file a FAFSA are reviewed for a Federal Student Loan. Graduate students are eligible to borrow up to $20,500 in a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan each year. The maximum amount a Graduate student is eligible to borrow is $138,500 (including Federal undergraduate loans).
