Graduate Student Checklist

Once you’ve been accepted into the graduate program at Texas Wesleyan, there are still a few things that you need to do before you can start classes. Read through our checklist and make sure you’ve got everything covered.

1. Turn in your documents and finish pre-requisites

If you were accepted conditionally or provisionally, you will need to turn in the required documents – or complete your pre-requisite coursework – as soon as possible.

2. Complete the FAFSA

Don’t wait to complete the FAFSA and have the results sent to Texas Wesleyan – our school code is 003645. Visit the financial aid website for more information on the FAFSA.

3. Turn in your bacterial meningitis form

All new students under the age of 22 have to turn in evidence of bacterial meningitis immunization by state law. Your evidence forms must be submitted before you can register for classes. An exemption waiver is available as well.

4. Sign up for orientation & classes

Orientation is where you start to do the important tasks for the next semester. You’ll meet your adviser, register for classes, learn about campus resources and much more. You don’t want to miss it. Sign up for orientation today.
