What if my child doesn't meet the criteria?

If your child doesn't meet the requirements, they can start the process for their application to be reviewed by the Committee on Admissions, Scholarships and Financial Aid.

They must submit the following items to their admissions counselor:

  • A personal essay about why attending Texas Wesleyan would be beneficial for them
  • At least two letters of recommendation

They have the option of:

  • Submitting a copy of their resumé
  • Participating in a personal interview with their admissions counselor

Once they have turned in their paperwork, their file will be sent to the committee for review.
