Congratulations to Krysta White on receiving the Alumni Legacy Scholarship! Krysta is one of four recipients for the 2023-24 school year that will receive support from funds raised by the Alumni Association throughout the year.

Krysta, whose mother also attended Texas Wesleyan, is a chemistry major graduating in 2024. Her goal after college is to pursue a Doctorate of Forensic Science through Oklahoma State University while working remotely in the chemistry lab at Texas Wesleyan. 

When asked what receiving the Alumni Legacy Scholarship meant to her, Krysta responded "Receiving this scholarship is a huge honor. This is my third year in a row to receive this and I am extremely grateful to the Alumni Association. I am proud to carry on my mom’s legacy at Texas Wesleyan and this scholarship has helped me make that possible!” 

Krysta chose Texas Wesleyan to remain close to home and to play collegiate softball. She encourages all her fellow Rams to participate in as many clubs and activities offered on campus as possible. Ultimately, her favorite thing about attending TXWES is the small community and close relationships she’s built during her time on campus. We applaud Krysta for her accomplishments and wish her luck in her future endeavors!
