Thursday, September 20 is North Texas Giving Day and a great opportunity to support Texas Wesleyan. This online giving event empowers Texas Wesleyan by leveraging donations with bonus funds on our total dollars raised. Every donation up to $10,000 will be eligible for bonus funds from the Communities Foundation of Texas.

Why give? We’ve got three top-notch reasons why your participation in North Texas Giving Day makes a big difference.

1. Your donation is worth more

When you make a donation through the North Texas Giving Day website, your gift earns bonus funds for the University. Additionally, 2018 is the year of the Leone Challenge.  For every new or increased gift to the Wesleyan Fund, George F. Leone ’49 has pledged a 1-to-1 matching gift up to $100,000. Every gift makes a big difference at Texas Wesleyan. That’s a great reason to give, but we’ve got more.

2. You’re supporting big things

Your donation through North Texas Giving Day is going to support big things here on campus. Gifts made to Texas Wesleyan through the North Texas Giving Day web page support the Wesleyan Fund. The Wesleyan Fund strengthens academic programs, supports scholarships and encourages other supporters to donate too. I’m pretty sure we’re two for two right now.

3. Show your Ram pride

Whether you’re a Texas Wesleyan supporter, alumni, staff member or friend, this is your opportunity to show your Ram pride. You’re not only a part of the North Texas community; you’re part of the Texas Wesleyan community, and that makes you Ramily. There’s no better time to show your support for the Wesleyan Fund than on North Texas Giving Day–and don’t forget to tell your friends.
