Texas Wesleyan University has once again ranked among national universities in the Best Colleges rankings by U.S. News and World Report. This achievement marks another milestone for TXWES, which has been recognized by U.S. News for over a decade, steadily ascending from regional colleges to national colleges in 2020.
The university was also touted in the social mobility category, a recognition that underscores TXWES’ commitment to enrolling and graduating a significant number of students eligible for Pell Grants. In fact, Texas Wesleyan has recently announced a groundbreaking initiative to offer free tuition to incoming first-year students from Texas who qualify for full Pell Grant eligibility beginning fall 2025.
In addition to its overall ranking, Texas Wesleyan’s business and psychology programs were nationally recognized in the report as top programs in their respective fields.
"Our commitment to empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of everything we do," said President Emily Messer. "This recognition by U.S. News & World Report is a testament to the transformative impact of Texas Wesleyan education and the hard work and dedication of our entire university community."
