'Smaller. Smarter.' experience prepares Jessica Liptak for what's next
For mass communication major Jessica Liptak, "Smaller. Smarter." has an impact that stretches far beyond the classroom.
"There's never a time when we're doing something just for a grade," says Liptak, "Dr. Colley always encourages us to take that to another level and use it for our portfolio."
The experience Jessica gets in her intentionally small classes doesn't just teach her how to pass a test — it prepares her to succeed in a competitive job market when she graduates.
"I know a lot of journalism students at other schools that have done all of this stuff, but they don't have a lot to actually show when they graduate."
