Wesleyan Celebrates Fall 2011 Graduation with Three Commencement Ceremonies

Speaker: Kathleen Hicks

Kathleen Hicks is Fort Worth councilwoman for District 8. She held the Mayor Pro Tem position from 2006 to 2009, and is the youngest woman ever elected to the Fort Worth City Council. Her address is titled “Onward and Upward Class of 2011.” Paid parking is available via the West Lot located off Gendy Street, and you can find more parking information on the Will Rogers Memorial Center Parking website.

Speaker: The Hon. Ed Kinkeade

The Hon. Ed Kinkeade is a U.S. District Judge and an adjunct professor at the School of Law. This will be Kinkeade’s final year as an adjunct professor, a position he has held for 20 years. Judge Kinkeade has also coauthored two books, Kinkeade & McColloch’s Texas Penal Code Annotated and A Practical Guide to Texas Evidence: Objections, Responses, Rules and Practice Commentary, and many law review articles.

Betty Horton is the former director of accreditation for the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs and has worked as a consultant to universities, nurse anesthesia programs and organizations on education and accreditation matters both nationally and internationally.
