The Texas Wesleyan table tennis team returned from the 2019 iSET College Table Tennis National Championships April 12-14 with four more title victories and many more medals.
Join President Frederick G. Slabach for a reception honoring the student-athletes and coaches for their outstanding season from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, May 2, on the second floor of the Oneal-Sells Administration Building, outside the President’s Office. Cake will be served.
The team came back from the weekend in Greensboro, North Carolina with four championships in men’s (coed) team, women’s team, men’s singles and men’s doubles. They also won a silver and bronze in men’s singles, a silver in women’s singles and a bronze in women’s doubles.
Texas Wesleyan has now won 14 men’s (coed) team national championships and 73 total titles since the program started in 2002.
