Ram Nation, it's time for a road trip! Your 12th ranked men's basketball team will make the short trip down U.S. 287 on Thursday, Jan. 26 to take on Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU). The two teams are currently tied atop the Sooner Athletic Conference standings at 6-2.
SAGU is located in Waxahachie, just 38 miles from Texas Wesleyan in Fort Worth. The SAGU Lions are currently ranked 20th in the NAIA and are riding a three-game winning streak. Thursday's game starts at 8 p.m. in SAGU's Sheaffer Center. The lady Rams basketball team will play before.
Texas Wesleyan is coming off a 98-76 win over 8th ranked Oklahoma City University in the Sid Richardson Center on Saturday, Jan. 21. Dion Rogers led the way for the Rams with a career-high 33 points during the game.
