Resident Assistant Application

Deadline to apply is Friday, Feb. 7

The Resident Assistant (RA) facilitates the social, academic and personal adjustment of students to the residence hall and University. The RA develops a sense of community among residents as members of a floor, residents of a hall and active participants in the residence life system. The RA serves as a positive role model for residents and peer staff members. The RA enforces the rules and policies of Residence Life, the Code of Student Conduct and state and federal laws as well as adheres to those guidelines and the RA handbook. RA positions are a one academic year appointment. Current RAs must re-apply each academic year to be reconsidered for an RA position.

Mortar Board Invitation 

Deadline to apply is Friday, Feb. 14

Juniors with a 3.2 GPA or higher that value scholarship, leadership and service: invitations were sent out via email on Jan. 22. Contact Kirsten if you have any questions.

New Student Mentor Application

Deadline to apply is Sunday, Feb. 23

As a New Student Mentor Orientation Leader, you will assist furthering the mission and focus of the Division of Student Affairs. Show why you love TXWES by welcoming new students and assist in their transition from high school or other colleges and universities to their new home. Gain experience by working with various areas in the department, develop short and long term goals and provide services that support the new student orientation.

Ramification: Student Speaker Series 

Applications are open now.

This limited-time student speaker series is looking for students who have had life kick them while they're down but still found a way to learn from it. If you are willing to share the lessons learned from your experiences, then this is the event for you. Apply via RamSpace and host your own Ted Talk.

Be sure to catch Amanda Roach's presentation at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Martin Hall located in the Ann Waggoner building. It's the first of the semester and you won't want to miss it.
