The Division of Student Affairs would like to invite you to participate in events, opportunities and be aware of what is happening on campus and in our community. Check out some of them here and make a positive impact on your RAMILY.

Women’s Leadership Conference

Saturday, Sept. 30
8am-1:30pm|Lou’s Place

Texas Wesleyan University is seeking mentors and panelists to assist with a Young Women’s Leadership Symposium. Mentors will help lead group discussions throughout the day. Panelist will be asked to answer questions and host discussion during an open forum.

Hispanic Heritage Cultural Event

Thursday, Sept. 28
11am-1pm|Mall Area

Come celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with us on Thursday, Sept. 28. There will be music, mariachi and ballet follorico performances, food from various Hispanic/Latin cultures and several vendors.  We are seeking student groups or organizations who are interested in selecting a Hispanic culture and hosting a table with food from that culture for the event. National Hispanic Heritage Month is from September 15 through October 15. 

Child Care Associates

Various Dates, Times and Locations

If you have any interest in going into the medical field, working with children or simply volunteering, this is the volunteer role for you. Child Care Associates are seeking students to help nurses take intake information from children on their campuses.

Fort Worth ISD

Friday, Oct. 6
5:30pm-7:30pm|Rosemount Middle School

Rosemount Middle School is seeking involved students and student organizations interested in inspiring and speaking to middle school students about their college experience.

TXWES Food Pantry

Anytime|PMC

The on-campus food pantry is seeking volunteers to assist in stocking, greeting visitors and cleaning up. Shifts are available at any time of day and throughout the week.

Socktober

Sunday, Oct. 1
Brown Lupton

If you are unable to contribute your time by volunteering, you can still give to others by donating a pair of socks to our Socktober bin in the Brown-Lupton Building throughout the month of October.
