Note on Credit & Debit Card Payments
One-time and automatic monthly payments are made through a partnership with Transact. Along with your payment, there will be a service fee of 2.85% for domestic and 4.25% for international of your payment amount, with a minimal charge of $3 for credit/debit payments and $0.50 charge for e-checks. This fee is not charged by, or paid to, Texas Wesleyan University. The service fee covers the cost of processing the payment transaction and the security compliance and certification requirements that ensure the protection of sensitive and personal consumer data. Currently, we accept American Express, JCB, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
Effective July 5, 2023, the service fee for domestic card payments will be 2.85%, the service fee for international card payments will be 4.25%. The minimum service fee for card transactions over $20 and less than $106 will be $3.
